Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Intelliquinte L.L.C., a North Carolina limited liability company doing business as "Intelliquinte" ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit intelliquinte.com (the "Website"), use the Vexli desktop application (the "Software"), or interact with our related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with the Services:

  • Account Registration: Email address, full name, and a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, Supabase). We never store your password in plaintext.
  • Company Information (optional): The name of the company or organization you are affiliated with, if you choose to provide it during account creation or profile editing
  • Contact Form Submissions: Name, email address, and the content of your message when you use our contact form
  • Support Communications: Any information you provide when contacting our support team via email or other channels

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, we may automatically collect limited technical information:

  • Analytics Data: Aggregate, non-personally-identifiable analytics data such as page views, referral sources, and general device type (e.g., desktop vs. mobile), collected through privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals
  • Server Logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard server log data, including IP addresses, in the ordinary course of serving web requests. This data is controlled by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy and is not accessed or stored by Intelliquinte

We do not use: fingerprinting, cross-site tracking pixels, third-party advertising networks, retargeting tags, or any technology designed to build an advertising profile of you.

1.3 Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). When you make a purchase:

  • Your payment card number, expiration date, CVC, and billing address are submitted directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on Intelliquinte's servers
  • We receive and store only a Stripe customer identifier and basic transaction metadata (amount, date, product purchased) for order management and support purposes
  • Stripe processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy

1.4 License Validation Data

When the Software validates your license, the following minimal data is transmitted:

  • Your authentication token (to verify your identity)
  • A random, non-identifying session hash (to enforce the device limit)
  • The product identifier (e.g., "vexli")

We do not collect, log, or store: IP addresses, user agent strings, device fingerprints, hardware identifiers, operating system version, screen resolution, installed software, geolocation data, or any other device or environmental information during license validation. This is a deliberate architectural decision.

1.5 Application Data (Zero-Knowledge)

We do not collect, access, transmit, store, or have the technical ability to view any data that you create, import, edit, or store within the Vexli application. All application data is:

  • Stored exclusively on your local device
  • Encrypted using AES-256-GCM via SQLCipher
  • Protected by a vault password that only you know
  • Never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party

This architecture means that Intelliquinte cannot view, recover, subpoena-produce, or respond to legal requests for your application data, because we do not have it and cannot access it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf (Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication, Cloudflare for hosting). These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to provide services to us and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Website uses a minimal set of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Website to function (e.g., authentication session cookies when logged in). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics Cookies: Privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand page-level traffic patterns. These do not identify individual users, do not track users across websites, and do not build advertising profiles.

We do not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies
  • Third-party tracking pixels or beacons
  • Social media tracking widgets
  • Cross-site tracking mechanisms
  • Browser fingerprinting techniques

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair the functionality of the Website.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is deleted within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law

  • Contact form submissions: Retained for up to twelve (12) months
  • Analytics data: Aggregate and non-personally-identifiable; retained indefinitely

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all Website communications
  • AES-256-GCM encryption (via SQLCipher) for all application data stored locally by the Software
  • Hashed and salted password storage (bcrypt) through our authentication provider
  • Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables
  • Principle of least privilege applied to all service roles and API keys
  • Regular security reviews and updates of our infrastructure

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and the devices on which the Software is installed.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
  • Right to Data Portability: Request your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we restrict the processing of your personal information under certain circumstances
  • Right to Object: Object to the processing of your personal information based on legitimate interests
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw your consent at any time
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@intelliquinte.com. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may request identity verification before processing your request.

For application data stored within Vexli: Because the Software operates on a zero-knowledge architecture, you already have complete and exclusive control over your application data. We cannot access, view, modify, export, or delete your application data because we never have it.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete such information. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@intelliquinte.com.

9. International Data Transfers

The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

10. Region-Specific Disclosures

10.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, the following additional provisions apply:

  • Data Controller: Intelliquinte L.L.C. is the data controller for personal data processed under this Policy

  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights
  • Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require verification of the agent's authorization.

To exercise your California rights, contact privacy@intelliquinte.com.

10.3 Other Jurisdictions

If you reside in a jurisdiction with specific data protection legislation (e.g., Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, Australia's Privacy Act), we will comply with applicable requirements to the extent they apply to our processing activities. Contact us for jurisdiction-specific inquiries.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. However, our privacy practices already minimize tracking: we do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or build advertising profiles regardless of your DNT setting.

12. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. This Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service before providing personal information. Intelliquinte is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
