Nidela

Privacy Policy

Effective August 7, 2026 · Last updated August 7, 2026
Published by Intelliquinte L.L.C.

The short version

Nidela stores everything you log on your device and nowhere else. We do not collect it, we do not transmit it, and we cannot see it. Not your cycle, not your symptoms, not your notes, not anything. We have no account system, run no analytics, embed no third-party trackers or advertising, and have no servers that hold your information. There is nothing for us to sell, share, or hand over, because we never receive it in the first place.

01

Who we are

Nidela ("Nidela," the "App") is developed and published by Intelliquinte L.L.C., a North Carolina limited liability company ("Intelliquinte," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Nidela iOS application, available on the App Store.

02

Data we collect: none from the App

We do not collect, receive, transmit, store on our systems, or have any access to the personal information or health-related content you enter into Nidela. This includes, without limitation:

  • Period and cycle dates, flow intensity, and related logs
  • Symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, cervical mucus, intimacy or sex logs, custom tags, and free-text notes
  • Cycle length preferences and prediction inputs
  • Optional passcode or biometric lock settings
  • Widget snapshots and local reminder preferences
  • Encrypted backup files and shared summaries you create

All of the above is stored only on your device (and, if you choose, in a backup or share you initiate). We have no ability to access any of it.

03

How your data is stored on your device

Nidela uses on-device storage (including SwiftData in the App's local application support directory) with iOS file protection. Your information stays on your iPhone. There is no Nidela cloud account, no CloudKit sync operated by us, and no HealthKit integration in the current App.

You may optionally enable an app passcode and Face ID or Touch ID. Passcode material is stored in the device Keychain. Biometric data itself is handled entirely by iOS and is never available to us.

You can view, edit, export, or delete your data at any time from within the App. Because it lives only on your device (unless you create a backup or share), deleting it in the App removes it from the App's local store.

04

Features that stay on your device

4.1 Local reminders

If you turn on reminders in Settings, Nidela schedules them on your device only using Apple's local notification system. Examples include a period estimate reminder, a predicted fertile-window reminder, and an optional daily log nudge. Reminder text is intentionally brief. We do not operate a push-notification server, and reminder content is never sent to us. Anyone who can see your Lock Screen may see notification text.

4.2 Widgets

If you add a Nidela widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, a short summary (such as cycle day or next-period estimate) can appear there. That summary is written only to an on-device App Group shared between the app and the widget extension. It does not leave your phone. You can hide cycle details from widgets in Settings, or remove the widget at any time. Anyone who can see your Lock Screen or Home Screen may see whatever the widget shows.

4.3 Predictions and estimates

Cycle length, fertile-window, and next-period estimates are calculated on your device from dates you log. They are not sent to us and are not medical measurements.

05

Backups and sharing (user-initiated only)

Encrypted backup. If you create a backup, Nidela can export an encrypted backup file that you save wherever you choose (for example via the Files app). We never receive or see this file. You are responsible for safeguarding the file and any passphrase you set.

Sharing. Any sharing is something you start and control. When you share—for example by exporting a PDF summary to send to a doctor or partner, or using nearby device sharing—your device creates that content and your operating system sends it through the method you pick. We are not involved in that transfer and never receive a copy.

06

Information you may send us voluntarily

If you email us a bug report or support question at nidela.support@intelliquinte.com, that email and anything you choose to put in it comes from you. The App's mail composer may include technical details such as app version, iOS version, and device model. Please do not send us your personal health information; describe the problem in your own words instead. We will only have the information you deliberately choose to send, and we use it solely to respond to your request and improve the App.

07

Information Apple may provide to us

We do not receive your cycle data from the App, but Apple, as the App Store operator, may provide us with limited information that never contains your health logs:

  • Aggregate, anonymized sales and download reports from App Store Connect, which do not identify you.
  • Optional crash and performance diagnostics that you may choose to share through iOS ("Share With App Developers"). You can disable diagnostic sharing in iOS Settings at any time. These reports contain technical information about failures, not your health data. We use them only to fix bugs.

If you purchase the App through the App Store, Apple processes the transaction under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details.

08

No tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs

We use no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, and no tracking software development kits (SDKs). Nidela does not profile you, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not serve ads. Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework is not applicable because we do not track. Our App Store privacy label is intended to reflect "Data Not Collected."

09

Law enforcement and legal requests

Because your cycle and log data live only on your device and we never receive them, we have nothing to produce in response to a subpoena, warrant, or other legal demand for that information. We cannot hand over what we do not have. If you voluntarily email us support content, that limited correspondence may be subject to lawful process.

10

Your privacy rights

10.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information from the App, and we do not receive your App content in the first place. There is accordingly no App content for us to access, delete, correct, or port on your behalf. You control all of your information directly within the App and on your device.

10.2 Washington and other consumer health data laws

Residents of certain states (including Washington) have specific rights regarding consumer health data. Because we hold none of your cycle or symptom data, you can exercise complete control directly within the App. You may contact us at nidela.support@intelliquinte.com with questions.

10.3 European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Because Nidela stores App content locally under your sole control and we act as neither controller nor processor of your cycle logs, there is no App content held by us to which access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection rights would attach. Voluntary support emails are processed only as needed to respond to you.

10.4 All users

Regardless of where you live, you have complete, direct control over your information in Nidela. You can edit or delete logs in the App, delete all App data from Settings where available, and remove the App and any backups you created.

11

Younger users

Nidela does not collect personal information from users of any age through the App. Everything stays on your device. We do not operate accounts, advertising, or age gates. Parents and guardians decide whether the App is appropriate for their family. Because no App content is transmitted to us, there is nothing for us to store about users of any age from App use.

12

Wellness estimates — not medical data processing by us

Nidela may show rough estimates such as cycle length, a predicted fertile window, or an estimated next period start. These are simple on-device calculations based on dates you log. They are not medical measurements, not ovulation tests, and not reliable for contraception or trying to conceive. Nidela is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent pregnancy. Do not rely on these estimates for birth control or medical decisions. Talk to a healthcare professional for medical advice.

13

Security

We design Nidela so that your data remains under your control on your device. No method of storage is perfectly secure. Device-level security depends on your device passcode, optional app lock, iOS updates, and how you safeguard any backups or shared files you create.

14

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and make the current version available at this URL and, where appropriate, in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
